AREA H2O
AreaH2O (from Varioplay) combines a movable pool bottom with interactive projections and games that respond to movements in the water. This innovative solution stimulates water acclimatization, motor skills, and playful learning, while the pool remains flexible for various activities and target groups.
Innovative solutions
Variopool introduces a groundbreaking innovation within the movable pool floors: the interactive pool floor Area H2O. With Area H2O, the pool transforms into a dynamic playground for all ages. Think of interactive water activities and spectacular fountains that respond to interactions within various games. For the projection, the movable floor is set approximately 10 cm below the water surface. Above the pool, a powerful projector is placed, equipped with 3D tracking cameras and a special cooled enclosure.
The projector is controlled from a computer on the platform or in the pool staff's office. A user-friendly interface allows games to be started quickly. The special programme on the computer can track users and interact with their movements while the game image is projected on the movable floor.
Interactive games and multifunctional movable floor
The moveable floor remains the basis for multifunctional use: adjustable to different depths and thus suitable for various target groups-from exercise exercises for the elderly to swimming lessons for toddlers. From that multifunctionality, the idea arose to use the pool water recreationally as well, so that pools can easily be transformed into recreational zones or specific target group pools.
Area H2O features games such as Deep Sea, Discoballs, Pong Around and Tubes, which take water entertainment to a higher level. At the same time, Area H2O offers more than just water play: it activates, motivates and supports skill development in an environment that feels familiar and challenging.
